"Closing in on 70 and looking through one Vanishing Point after another, it was clear that whatever talent I had as an artist and poet had to be honed to it's final sharpness.  I took my little Met Museum "start to paint" kit to Silvermine School of Art, began classes and got serious.  A few years later, I am turning out pretty good landscapes, portraits and still life plus a few "off the wall" comic pieces and have exhibited my art with:
